DP6- BIGA UPPER BUDDHA 

Statute of BIGA Upper Buddha being worshipped in Troi Buddha Temple in Hanoi

    On the occasion of 12^th day of 1^st lunar month year Mau Tuat, the anniversary of 2771 years of attainment of Dao (High Buddha level 3) of BIGA Upper Buddha, the author would like to provide some following information about him, accepted by himself as correct and true.

1. Last life on Earth

- In his last incarnation on Earth, Upper Buddha BIGA was born on 8^th day of 11^th lunar month, year Nham Ty, i.e. 833 BC, or 2851 years from this year 2018. Named after the ancient Burmese language as KYLY EHY; he had no Sanskrit name.

- He was a Burmese, the fourth prince of the king. At childhood, he was taken care of in the royal palace. At the age of adulthood, he worked in the royal palace. He was handsome, 1.58 meter tall and had weight of 54 kilogram. At the age of 22, he got married to the daughter of a mandarin in the court. He had 3 children, 1 son and 2 daughters. At the age of 54, he retired from the position of a Second grade mandarin in the court and started cultivating.

2. Cultivation Path

- He cultivated following the method of Hinayana Buddhism, had 8 incarnations cultivated at home and 2 incarnations cultivated in pagoda in the mountain caves. His cultivating incarnations were as follows:

    + In the 24^th, 20^th and 14^th incarnation from the last one: cultivated at home, had not attained any level.

    + In the 12^th incarnation prior to the last one: cultivated at home, attained Deity-Than Linh level 1.

    + In the 10^th incarnation prior to the last one: cultivated at home, attained Deity-Than Linh level 3.

    + In the 8^th incarnation prior to the last one: cultivated at home, attained Divinity-Tien Than level 4.

    + In the 5^th incarnation prior to the last one: cultivated at home, attained High Virtue Bonze Bodhisattva – Cao Tang level 4.

    + In the 4^th incarnation prior to the last one: cultivated at home, attained Arhat-La Han

level 4.

    + In the incarnation immediately prior to the last one: cultivated in pagoda on the mountain, attained Buddha level 6 (no name Buddha).

    + In the last incarnation: cultivated in pagoda on the mountain, attained High Buddha level 3.

- On 12^th day of 1^st lunar month year Quy Dau, i.e 753 BC, or 2771 years from this year 2018, He was honoured High Buddha level 3, i.e. attainment of Dao, Buddha name BIGA (Power). At that time, He was 80, a Bodhisattva High Buddha, with unsurpassable knowledge power.

- BIGA Upper Buddha also has the following appellations:

-          DOHI ZOVY (Great Strength);

-          KHOL TOLI LAN (Wisdom-Great Effort);

-          LIGO FOP (Vast-boundless light).

-  At the age of 84, on 19^th day of 9^th lunar month year Tan Suu, i.e 673 BC, he entered the Nirvana (died). At that time, he had already attained High Buddha level 4. Since then, he, together with Avalokiteśvara AOPNABA Buddha, always accompanied Amitabha Buddha.

3. Activities in the Invisible Space

- 2726 years from this year 2018 He was honoured Upper Buddha grade 4 (in the year 708 BC). And 156 year ago- Upper Buddha grade 9. After being honoured Upper Buddha grade 4, he became the Permanent member of Standing Three Jewels and no longer accompanied Amitabha Buddha.

    He has attended the Standing Three Jewels for 2076 years till this year 2018. When the Highest Universal Council (FOGHY) was established 2333 years ago he became Standing member for this Council until now.   

   In 2018, he was honoured Upper Buddha grade 10. At the present time he replaced Amitabha to be the Head of BIGA Buddha Committee in the Highest Universal Council FOGHY.

   4. Teaching about Dao

    At the present time in the invisible space, BIGA Buddha often gives lectures to Buddha, Arhat, Colossus Bodhisattva and High Virtue Bonze Bodhisattva. 

5- Mentoring

    He has mentored 3 High Buddha level 1 when these three cultivated in the physical space. One of them attained High Buddha level 3 and other 2 attained High Buddha level 2 before death. At the present time, he is still mentoring these 3 Buddhas.

    During the last 2706 years, BIGA Buddha has participated into leading of the Standing Three Jewels, now the Highest Universal Council FOGHY and the Buddha & God Council DOHIZ. He is the Buddha teacher educating mankind in the whole Universe to have correct understanding about the Existence of Universe, the Laws of Troi, guiding men to cultivate to become men of Truth-Goodness-Forbearance.

    Mankind highly appreciate and express their deep respect and gratitude for his guidance to the mankind in the entire Universe.

Note:

As of the present time, there are many inaccuracies in the documents on BIGA Upper Buddha. Specifically as follows:

     1. He lived his last incarnation about nearly 3,000 years from this year 2018, about 300 years before Shakyamuni LANTIG Buddha, and cultivated following asceticism of Hinayana Buddhism in the mountain cave, but the existing material writes that he followed Mahayana Buddhism. While Mahayana Buddhism only appeared in the first century, around the 50s, after Shakyamuni Buddha LANTIG died. So at the time BIGA Buddha was alive on Earth, there was only Hinayana Buddhism.

    2. He was honoured High Buddha level 3 in 753 BC, 2771 years from this year 2018. At that time he was called BIGA Bodhisattva. But since he was honoured Upper Buddha grade 4- 2706 years from this year 2018, he is no longer a Bodhisattva. Upper Buddha is much higher than Bodhisattva. Now he is Upper Buddha grade 10 already. Yet the documents still call him Bodhisattva, so considering that for nearly 3 thousand years BIGA Buddha has not been able to make any progress?

    3. BIGA Upper Buddha was a Burmese, that country does not use Sanskrit. But the documents still give him the Sanskrit name Mahāsthāmaprāpta which was attributed to Him, not true.

    4. Since attainment of Upper Buddha grade 4, BIGA Buddha no longer accompanied Amitabha and became the  Standing member of the Highest Universal Council, FOGHY. But the documents still writes that he is accompanying Amitabha. In many pagodas, still worshipped the trinity of Amitabha with BIGA and AOPNABA Avalokiteśvara standing on each side. So, considering as there is no change in the history of Troi and Buddha for the last more than 2,000 years, whilst in reality there are a lot of changes every year. Haven’t the Upper Buddhas made no progress at all?!

    5. Those documents also write that he was the second son of King Vo Chanh Niem (ie. Amitabha). In reality, Amitabha was only his mentor (i.e. guiding and assisting) but not his father. And so on, giving him many different untruthful Buddha appellations, not the appellations as mentioned above.

    6. Some sutras even describe him having 500 treasured flowers, each flower has 500 treasured  ovaries, in each ovary there are pure lands of 10 Buddhas dimensions. In general, it is metaphorical, nonsense, not seeing him as a real person in physical space cultivating to become a Buddha. It is not a mystery.

It can be said that the documents written by Northern Buddhism about the Upper Buddhas over 2,000 years ago for the Southeast Asian countries are very misleading, in the direction of deliberately deification of the Buddhas, making people understand that the Buddhas are not real, are supermen from invisible space, not real Rough men as us who cultivated to become Buddha. It is a bad conscience against true Buddhism. We should have vigilance with this. And Buddhist Associations need to have programs to teach people to understand the truth correctly.
